4:26pm: Gordon’s attorneys have issued an update on their client (Twitter link via Nate Ulrich of Ohio.com): “Josh Gordon was made aware that he was previously requested to be present in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. He was unaware of this face until 12 p.m. today. Mr. Gordon immediately made himself available to the Court when he was informed that his presence had been previously required. He attended court today and a hearing was held. The matter was continued until November should a further hearing be needed.”
11:55am: Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon could have yet another off-the-field problem. A warrant has been issued for his arrest after he failed to respond to several months worth of subpoenas in a paternity case, as Adam Ferrise of Cleveland.com writes. 
An Ohio woman claims that Gordon is the father of her one-year-old daughter. The woman is seeking child support and Gordon has not complied with requests to supply the court with a DNA sample.
Gordon, of course, could potentially return to the Browns after sitting out for the first four games of the season. However, his reinstatement is predicated on his behavior and this latest issue could theoretically delay his return.
In 2013, despite missing the first two games of the season due to a suspension, Gordon led the NFL in receiving yards, finishing with 87 receptions for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. Thanks to his off-the-field indiscretions, the 25-year-old played in five games in 2014 and missed the entire 2015 season.

An arrest warrant is an arrest warrant so I’m not really trying to downplay the seriousness of this, but at least its not for drugs/alcohol.

Lol always got them Cowboys in your mouth. Had nothing to do with Dez and still want to bring up. So many haters lol.
He’s just pointing out something that worked. Dez would’ve been a top 5 pick if teams weren’t worried about his attitude and off-field behavior. To prevent any bad off-field behavior, the Cowboys gave him a babysitter. As far as I can recall, Dez hasn’t had any issues off the field. Whether or not Dez still has one, its obviously worked so maybe more teams should look into a babysitter for their guys.
Always? I actually don’t think I ever made a comment about the Cowboys before. But I get what you’re doing… You think everyone is always thinking about the Cowboys. We aren’t. The Cowboys are irrelevant this year. Just like they were last year and the year before that. Pretty much every year since Jimmy Johnson left, except when Switzer took Jimmy’s leftovers to the Super Bowl and won. Maybe the Cowboys will turn it around this year or next? Who knows. But it isn’t looking like it. Good ol Jerrah Jones is one heck of a GM…lol.
I think it’s kind of ridiculous that a personal matter would be brought into the public like this and there would even be talk of a suspension for something like this. I get it, it’s a warrant and with this guy anything negative with the law is all bad but it’s about a personal matter having to do with if he’s this ladies baby daddy or not and that to me shouldn’t even be brought up the way it is Ana there should be no talk of a suspension.
Agreed. As long as he complies with this issue (gets tested) then I don’t see any issue to suspend him. Knowing the NFL, they’ll probably suspend him for multiple games though.
