I think the Bears are completely happy with having Jones back for 1 season and Jedrick Willis to compete with Him and Benedet. Probably in 2027 it will be Willis and Trapilo battling it out but the Bears will have a lot more money to play with by then. A lot of the deals they signed last year are only guaranteed through this year so if they’re not worth it Ba Bye. Pretty much ruling Trapilo out for this whole year from what I’m hearing but hey Miracle recovery’s do happen. All the C’s in this draft are all described the same. Slightly undersized, Good Technique so It doesn’t sound like there’s much difference. I know they like Hecht more than the rest but he’s not worth over drafting is what it seems like. I kind of liked the Iowa C, He was pretty good I thought but who knows. They’ll address it at some point. I’m just kind of wondering if Dahlman changes his mind for 27 if that’s what they’re hoping for.
