The Eagles will face the Seahawks without the services of Nelson Agholor. The wide receiver’s knee injury will sideline him for the opening round of the playoffs, head coach Doug Pederson announced. 
Agholor has not played since suffering a knee injury in Week 13. Before that, he caught 39 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns in eleven games.
Meanwhile, the statuses of tight end Zach Ertz and right tackle Lane Johnson remain murky.
“Zach [is] still not cleared for any contact,” Pederson said. “He will work a little bit on the side again like he’s done this week and stuff like that, but we’re waiting on a few doctor results tomorrow. If things go favorable, he’ll play. If they don’t, he won’t.”
The Eagles can get by without Agholor, but it won’t be easy for Carson Wentz to move the chains or convert in the red zone without Ertz. The tight end caught 88 passes for 916 yards and six touchdowns this season, giving him his third-straight Pro Bowl nod. Ertz is known for his toughness, but doctors won’t let him take the field unless his broken rib and lacerated kidney show drastic improvement.

Agholor’s replacements have nicely outperformed him so no big deal.
huge eagles fan here, I’m glad he’s not playing. I’ve grown to hate him over the last 2years. I would figure they would put him on I.R. if his knee was that bad.
Don’t miss him, Alshon or DJax. These scrubs they’re trotting out there have shown a lot of heart.
Best clip of the year was when that Philly fan was talking about catching kids from a burning building and said ‘we didn’t drop them like Agh’!
This should be an interesting game. Two teams that are like a Mash unit. They have run out of beds for them all. They are parked in the walkway and laying on the floor. If you younger kids don’t know what I am talking about Google it.
I think Seattle wins because Wilson will be better than Wentz. I like Wentz but his first playoff game. I also like Pederson came from the area I live in. The atmosphere will be different and Wilson more prepared.
Also from here and all blue and green. I wish they could wear the green jerseys with the blue pants. I like all green but the blue pants break it up a bit.
Should be a close game but Goodell is again making a mockery of his “integrity of the game” rants by trying to manipulate some playoff outcomes before the games have even started. The Seahawks are getting a 4:30 start time to give them more time to overcome the jet lag. The Saints would normally get that time slot but have to play 3 hrs earlier which aids the Vikings a bit. It will be interesting to see how much the game officials try to influence these game results too.
How about setting it up so Patriots have prime time Saturday night.
Giving eagles more time for Ertz to heal.

Eagles injured players don’t get any more healing time than Seahawk injured players do no matter when the game is scheduled.
