The third offensive lineman off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft, Charles Cross has finally heard his name called for the Seahawks at No. 9 overall. 
Cross wasn’t necessarily considered to be on the same level as Alabama tackle Evan Neal or NC State blocker Ikem Ekwonu in terms of overall talent, but the Mississippi State product makes up for his lack of athleticism with consistency and savviness. His length and footwork will allow him to be a long-term answer on the offensive line, and his underrated strength should continue to develop as he ages.
The lineman broke on the scene in 2020, and he followed that up with a standout 2021 campaign. Cross finished the season with 12 starts at left tackle, and he earned first-team all-conference honors.
Cross visited several teams during the pre-draft process with most teams in the late area of the Draft’s top-10 picks counting on him being there if Neal and Ekwonu were taken. The Seahawks get that last top-10 talent available at offensive line in the draft to block for Drew Lock or Geno Smith.
The Seahawks definitely needed a Offensive tackle for the future

It’s funny, now that Russ is gone, I can’t stand him anymore.
As a QB I liked him as a person has always seemed fake. As a “Christian” his divorce then marriage to Ciara doesn’t add up. Not so much the divorce but his chosen partner. I think his whole public life is rehearsed and a show. Have family that went to the same church as him and many other Hawks. They all sat with the regular people. He walked in with the pastor had the front row all reserved and bodyguards in second. Said it was all show making him look important. Last the clothes she wears are not exactly modest I know I wouldn’t want my wife to wear some of her clothes. Modesty is something they should both want in the positions they are in. I know I am an old fart but there is no reason for her to dress like that even preforming. Are people not going to go to her concerts if she is half hanging out of her clothes?
That’s how I meant it. How can I not love the QB that won the Superbowl for the team I’ve love since 1983. As a person he does seem extremely fake. I’d love a Go Hawks to slip, just once
