The Steelers are still seeking a first-round pick for Antonio Brown, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (video link) hears. However, Rapoport does not specify whether the Steelers would ultimately accept a lesser offer. 
One has to imagine the Steelers would be willing to take less, especially since they plan on moving AB by Friday. As Rapoport notes, the Steelers’ strong desire for a first-round pick may tilt things even further in the Raiders’ favor since they are armed with three choices in the top 32.
A Wednesday report indicated that things are heating up in the Brown sweepstakes with three new teams having joined the mix in the last 48 hours. However, we have some conflicting word on that front. It’s a “one team race,” a league source tells ESPN.com’s Josina Anderson (Twitter link), with other teams deciding “the price was too high.”
One way or another, it feels like the Steelers/Brown saga is about to near its conclusion.
Everyone is saying the Raiders make the most sense in other threads. But that goes against what we know/believe. We believe the Steelers want to trade him to the NFC. Of course, they might not care if it’s Oakland if they don’t consider Brown to be enough if a difference maker to push the Raiders into contention (it wouldnt.) We also believe the Raiders are acquiring all these draft assets with a view toward their move to Vegas. If that’s true, then how does a 30-year old Brown fit? He doesn’t.
Really, if the Steelers want to deal Brown to the NFC, they’re demanding a 1st round pick, and one team is OK with that – then it’s most likely Green Bay. They have two 1st rd picks. They have more than enough cap space. And they’re desperate to win now with Rodgers nearing his late 30s.

I agree he was doubled covered but I mean would u ever want to leave him alone , I mean u know what he can do most teams had not really seen Juju so they double cover brown but now well they would have had to play less double team . but brown is not good enough at this stage to demand the ball every play and get the catches when he’s being doubled teamed every play . he’s a good player but his aditude just killed things for me it really seems to me that he’s mad for one that his rb didn’t get what he wanted and is leaving so he wanted out . and secondly he wants to be the main weapon to be thrown to . if I was the team I’d trade him to who I wanted to trade him to and if he made the trade hard I’d just keep him and bench him and cite violation of terms of the contact and suspend him as I’m sure he violated terms of his contract in some way with all the talking he did .

I don’t think there’s any chance Pittsburgh can get close to this. AB is great but he deliberately crushed his trade value. I bet it’s a mid 3rd even, unless a team like Green Bay with a great QB offers a 2nd.

Why are statements like this still news? I’m sure the Steelers would love to receive a first round pick and a pro bowl player and send AB somewhere never to be heard from again all at once. None of those things are revelatory (or going to happen). If the Steelers brass said all of a sudden that they would be happy to accept a bag of chips in trade that would be news.

AB and their first rounder for the Niners first rounder (essentially moving up) may do it. Win-win for all. No one loses any picks and the Steelers get the defense they need with the high pick while the Niners still have a first rounder while taking in a top receiver for their QB.
Do the 49ers own another 1st? No way AB and the Steelers 1st lands the 2nd pick in the draft. Based on draft pick trade value, that’s the equivalent of the Steelers trading AB to the bucs for their 1st (#5 overall) and 5th round picks
