Lions Cut CB Teez Tabor

Teez Tabor‘s time in Detroit has come to an end. On Friday, the Lions released the 2017 second-round pick, according to Tom Pelissero of (on Twitter).

Tabor fell to the Lions at No. 53 overall two years back, but some draft analysts, like’s Daniel Jeremiah, were much higher on him. The Florida product suffered a hamstring injury during his workout with Detroit and was unable to audition for other teams, leading to his drop.

In the pros, Tabor hasn’t measured up. To date, the 23-year-old has made just five total starts. For his career (22 games), he has 39 total tackles and no interceptions.

Patricia couldn’t do that in Detroit doubt her husband Bill can do it in New England.

BQ should have cut his HC a year earlier & Patricia would have used Van Noy correctly he screwed up & knows it but he was a new & young GM & so it was hesitant. However, TEZ is all his fault & he spent a ton of time evaluating him. Lions have a history of blowing 2nd picks which means they should be trading back every year, get another pick & lessen the damage. When was the last time a 2nd pick of the Lions was exceptional? Chris Speilman?

Kerroyn Johnson & Tavahi are next to be under scrutiny but both look to be at least contributors.

“Tease” Tabor. All the talent in the world, but can’t summon it on game day.
