The unnamed player present when Antonio Brown committed an alleged sexual assault was Ravens rookie Marquise Brown, the cousin of the Patriots’ All-Pro receiver, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports. The younger Brown is expected to be interviewed as part of the NFL’s investigation into Britney Taylor’s allegations against Antonio Brown.
Marquise Brown does not face any accusations, but he is the player that was present during one of his cousin’s alleged assaults perpetrated against Taylor in May 2018. Marquise Brown is expected to support his cousin’s stance that no such act occurred, Florio adds. Taylor was scheduled to meet with the NFL on Monday.
“That’s not going to be a distraction,” John Harbaugh said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN (on Twitter). “Believe me, it’s the last thing on my mind right now. My focus is on football. If it comes to that, if there is something that needs to be done that way, we have people in the building who look at those things. If they do and I need to be involved in it, I certainly will be.”
Antonio Brown denied Taylor’s allegations and was not placed on the commissioner’s exempt list in advance of Sunday’s game in Miami. With this being a civil matter, the NFL was under no obligation to go in that direction. However, the scope of this situation may change this week after the respective testimonies of Taylor and Marquise Brown. It is not yet known when the latter will speak with the league on this matter.

I’m not saying he’s innocent but right now it’s he said she said and she has already lied about what their relationship was which brings into question the legitimacy of her claim. On 1 side,why would A.Brown negotiate…on the other,if he exposed himself and tried forcing himself onto her,why’d she even come back a 2nd time.And then if what supposedly happened the 2nd time,actually happened,why did she come back a 3rd time?
And where would M.Brown even come in at? Was he in the same room? Was he just outside a room keeping watch? And ofcourse it’s pretty much a perfect time to bring it all up,while alot of people are questioning A.Browns character.
Good point. Especially considering that the last time that they had had any contact before she started training him was a year after he left CMU, when he asked her for sex, and she said no. That’s certainly a questionable situation.

Or, And I’m not saying it’s more or less likely, he will tell the truth and have done the right thing by clearing an innocent man’s name. You and I don’t know. In all likelihood we will never know. I’m optimistic that authorities and the NFL make the right decision based on their findings.

What would be disrespectful and frankly despicable is lying to cover up a felony sexual assault. I hope he tells the truth, whatever it is. If doing the right thing is bring a snitch, then o would be a snitch and hopefully he will be too. If AB is innocent, I hope he is exonerated.

If the alleged incident happened how the accuser said it did and he tells the truth, he could be persona non grata with his family. If it did happen and he knows it did and he lies and backs Mr. Big Chest’s version, then he puts himself at risk if it comes out that he lied to try to protect cousin. If it happened like Mr. Big Chest said it did, he will always have idiots in fandom and in the media that will always say he covered up for Cuz. Hollywood Brown is in a crappy position no matter what happened.

Also, the fifth amendment is designed to prevent self-incrimination. In this case, he’s not accused of anything, so pleading the fifth wouldn’t apply anyway.
He also has no affirmative duty to report, so don’t expect anything useful from him.
