On Sunday night, the Patriots pulled off an incredible comeback win to defeat the Falcons by a score of 34-28 in overtime. This is the Patriots’ fifth Super Bowl victory and it is unquestionably their most thrilling. 
At one point, the Falcons held a 28-3 lead, but the Pats went on to score 25 points to force the game into OT. The Pats, of course, have Tom Brady to thank for leading the offensive charge. The legendary QB now has more Super Bowl rings than Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana (four) and finds himself tied with defensive end Charles Haley for the most championships in the Super Bowl era. A misread by Brady led to a costly pick six in the first half, but he went on to redeem himself in a major way. All in all, he completed 43 of 62 passes for 466 yards and two touchdowns.

Watch the last three drives…Brady spread the ball to everyone. This was a true team effort on the receivers, but the season was on the line in every snap of this three drives. Brady never deserved MVP more.

I keep hearing “what a comeback” and “the best comeback ever” but really that had a more to do with the Falcons falling apart and the biggest choke I’ve ever seen in a super bowl than it was a comeback. The Falcons were up big and let it slip away. Even in the 4th when they were in FG range and instead of running the ball they call passing plays and end up getting shoved it of FG range. Not a fan of either team but that was frustrating to watch. Congrats to the Pats and their fans on the win and to Brady for the record though. The guy is a beast and will go down as the GOAT! Falcons should hold their heads huh even after giving that game away! They still are pretty damn young and have a ton of talent.

How did Matt Ryan choke? The Patriots had the ball basically the entire game. Ryan’s only bad plays were the fumble (which was Freeman’s fault for not blocking) and the sack that pushed them out of FG range (again, hardly his fault when Trey Flowers just muscled his way through their best O-lineman. The defense gave up the game and Kyle Shanahan failed by not running the ball, something that was working through most of the game. Shanahan got cute and wanted to go for the dagger (TD) when a field goal would’ve been just as good (speaking about the Falcons’ second to last drive).

Circumstantial evidence…you do realize that’s like saying a person committed a murder because they happened to be in the area and disliked the person who got killed. Also, the Pats are not “average at best”. They were clearly a top 2-3 team in the AFC (in no particular order, Raiders with Derek Carr and the Steelers being the other two top teams) so that hardly makes them “average at best”.
Also, if you’re going to claim “best story” winning every year, wouldn’t the Packers winning it all (and fulfilling Aaron Rodgers’ claim that they could run the table) be better? Or the Texans making it to the Super Bowl on the back of Osweiler to play in front of the home crowd and be the first team to “host” the Super Bowl and compete in it? Or the Cowboys being led by the dynamic rookie duo (also being from Texas) be just as good? Or even a third Giants-Patriots Super Bowl would make some big headlines.

God… I thought SpyGate was just about as stupid as it gets. A truly minor infraction when you actually look at all the details of what ACTUALLY happened, blown out of proportion by fake news and stories leaked by Matt Walsh. They certainly acted outside of the rules and were penalized. Then it was Deflategate, and that took it to a whole ‘nother level. It was absolutely a witch hunt, and so clearly, it should’ve been a minor equipment violation that had been given to teams in the past. And now this….. a rigged NFL. With nothing to grasp onto, with nothing catchy ending with the ‘gate’ suffix, you all are now fully convinced the league is rigged, and the Patriots were handed a championship. All I can do is sit back and laugh, mostly because you all claim to “see so clearly” and tell us how obvious it is, but all along through SpyGate and Deflategate nobody wanted to see what was so clearly in front of them.
