Washington Football Team
- Claimed off waivers from Dolphins: OL Ross Reynolds
Hundley is the biggest signing on this list. The Colts adding him is a pretty good sign they expect Carson Wentz to miss some significant time. Assuming Wentz misses games, Hundley will battle it out with second-year pro Jacob Eason.
A couple of kickers who have started a bunch of games both found themselves sent packing in Ficken and Rosas. Mannion latched on with the Seahawks. He’s familiar with new Seattle OC Shane Waldron from their time together with the Rams, explaining why the Seahawks added him as an option behind Russell Wilson.
Wonder if all these players retiring or being placed on the Reserve/ Retired list is because they don’t want to get the Covid Shot. Vikings are down to one QB because of Covid. I would hope this Shane Waldron who is now the OC in Seattle is not a pass happy clown. I can see some fights down in Jacksonville now with Brian Schotteinheimer grooming Martina Lawrence who looks a lot like the HOF Female Tennis player named Martina. While Darrell Bevell. Proof that the Jags tanked last yr they ran the ball the least in the entire league.

Teams have dumped executive personnel and assistant coaches who have refused vaccination so there is no reason to think players (particularly those who are marginal) will get a free pass. I don’t have a problem with the NFL policy on this provided unvaccinated fans are prohibited from attending games. Otherwise it looks rather hypocritical.
I’m surprised Ficken didn’t at least make it to camp. I see a couple vet backup QBs signed but I’m surprised the Jets are still rolling with Morgan and White as the backups.
Adam Shefter reported that Hundley was already going to be signed before Wentz injury, and this wasn’t necessarily a “cause and effect” type of deal.
If thats true, I think that speaks more towards their lack of trust in Eason’s progress and his ability to be counted on as their backup.
