Falcons Waive Jeremy Langford From IR
The Falcons waived Jeremy Langford from injured reserve, according to a team announcement. The running back has been on the team’s IR since clearing waivers in May.

Langford initially looked promising after entering the league as a fourth round pick of the Bears back in 2015. He opened the 2016 season as Chicago’s starting running back, but he’s struggled with injuries and turned into a journeyman ever since. Drafted only a few years ago, the Falcons were already the fifth stop of his career.
Langford only appeared in one game for the Falcons last year, rushing nine times for 25 yards. He also has spent time with the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins.
Now, Langford is free to sign with any NFL team.
Buccaneers Waive Shaun Wilson
The Buccaneers cut running back Shaun Wilson, according to a team announcement. The second-year pro will go on waivers, giving the league’s other 31 teams an opportunity to claim him.
Wilson started the 2018 season as the Bucs’ main kickoff returner and appeared in five games. In that span, he ran for 29 yards off of six carries, caught three passes for five yards, and returned seven kickoffs for 122 yards.
The former UDFA out of Duke had his season shortened by shoulder surgery but is presumably healthy now. He’ll look for a new gig while the Bucs will move forward with running backs Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones, Andre Ellington, Dare Ogunbowale, and Bruce Anderson.
Bears Wrap Draft Class
On Thursday, the Bears announced the signing of sixth-round cornerback Duke Shelley. With Shelley in the fold, the Bears have now wrapped up their entire 2019 NFL Draft class.

Shelley, a 5’9″ Kansas State product, will compete for time as a slot corner and special teams player. He might not see a ton of defensive snaps in 2019, but he showed future promise for the position with three interceptions last year.

Packers Waive Michael Roberts
Its been a rough offseason for Michael Roberts. On Wednesday, the Packers waived the tight end due to a failed physical, according to Field Yates of ESPN.com (on Twitter). 
The Lions traded Roberts to the Patriots earlier this month for a conditional seventh-round pick. However, the deal was quickly nixed when he failed the Pats’ physical. Roberts reverted to the Lions’ roster, but the team immediately waived him.
The Packers, wanting to see what the 2017 fourth-round pick could offer, picked Roberts up. But, after failing his second physical in the span of a week, Roberts may have to take some time off before landing his next NFL opportunity. The exact reason for Roberts’ failed physical is not yet known, but it’s likely tied to the shoulder injury that sidelined him midway through 2018.
Roberts, 25, has 13 career receptions for 146 yards. The Toledo alum, who caught three touchdown passes last season despite playing in just eight games, still has his practice squad eligibility.
Panthers Sign Second-Rounder Greg Little
The Panthers have signed second-round pick Greg Little, according to a team announcement. With that, the Panthers have just one unsigned draft pick remaining in first-round defensive end Brian Burns. 
The Panthers traded up in the second round of the NFL Draft to land the Ole Miss product and he may be on track for the starting left tackle job in 2019. The Panthers used Taylor Moton on the blindside last season, but GM Marty Hurney‘s preference is to have Moton play right tackle. Daryl Williams is still in the mix for a spot on the right side of the line, but the club appears prepared to pencil in Little as its starting LT.
The 6’5″, 310-pound lineman started in all 12 games last year at left tackle and was named a Second-Team All-American by multiple outlets. Thanks in large part to Little, Ole Miss had the best offense in the SEC and finished fifth in the nation in passing offense with 346.4 yards per game.
With prototypical size for the tackle position, Little could be one of the league’s most successful rookies this season.
Raiders Sign First-Round S Johnathan Abram
Challenging the Jets’ front office construction for Tuesday’s news leader, the Raiders have signed a third draft choice today. The team announced Johnathan Abram agreed to terms on his four-year rookie deal (with the customary fifth-year option).
The third of the Raiders’ three first-round picks, Abram will be expected to integrate quickly into Oakland’s secondary mix. With Lamarcus Joyner thus far working exclusively at slot cornerback, Abram spent OTAs and minicamp operating as a starting safety alongside 2016 first-rounder Karl Joseph.
Abram follows No. 4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell and No. 40 choice Trayvon Mullen in signing today. Abram transferred from Georgia to Mississippi State, playing only his freshman year with the Bulldogs. He registered five sacks and intercepted two passes at his second SEC school. The No. 27 overall selection, Abram was the second safety to come off the board this year — behind the Packers’ Darnell Savage.
Only Josh Jacobs remains unsigned. At this rate, we perhaps should expect news of that agreement to surface tonight.
Raiders Sign Round 2 CB Trayvon Mullen
The Raiders now have their Clemson contingent under contract. Hours after revealing they signed first-round pick Clelin Ferrell, the team announced second-round cornerback Trayvon Mullen agreed to terms.
Ferrell, Mullen and Hunter Renfrow comprised the Raiders’ Clemson group; the slot receiver had previously signed his rookie deal. Two Raiders picks remain unsigned, first-rounders Josh Jacobs and Johnathan Abram.
Mullen, the No. 40 overall pick, figures to factor in prominently among Oakland’s corners this season. Before leaving after his junior season, the 6-foot-1 defender started 26 games for the Tigers. He joins the likes of Gareon Conley, Daryl Worley, Nevin Lawson, fourth-round pick Isaiah Johnson and new slot corner Lamarcus Joyner as the primary coverage cogs for the Silver and Black.
A cousin of Lamar Jackson, Mullen was the fifth cornerback taken this year. He came off the board during a run of corners in the early part of the second round, which saw six corners go off the board between picks 33 and 46.

Raiders Sign Clelin Ferrell
The Raiders have signed No. 4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell, according to a team announcement. Per the terms of his slot, the Clemson product will receive a four-year deal worth $31.4MM with a $20.8MM signing bonus. And, as a first-round pick, the Raiders will hold a fifth-year team option to continue his contract through the 2023 season. 
Ferrell’s selection was the first major shock of the draft. With the No. 4 overall pick, many expected the Raiders to tap Kentucky pass rusher Josh Allen, but as it turns out, the Raiders were never all that enamored with him. The Raiders badly wanted Ferrell, and despite his late first-round rank on most draft boards, the Raiders were not willing to wait and risk losing out on him.
Ferrell, lauded for his toughness and work ethic, finished out his Clemson stay with new career highs in tackles for a loss (20) and sacks (11.5). Questions remain about his agility and open-field tackling ability, but the Raiders still envision big things for the 6’4″, 264-pound athlete.
With Ferrell and five other draft picks signed, the Raiders still need to address fellow first-rounders Josh Jacobs and Johnathan Abram, as well as second-round cornerback Trayvon Mullen.
Packers Claim TE Michael Roberts
Michael Roberts‘ complicated stretch continues. The tight end has now been traded, waived and claimed in a span of five days.
With the Lions waiving Roberts after their trade with the Patriots fell through, he may have an opportunity in Green Bay. The Packers claimed the third-year tight end off waivers Monday, Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk notes.
The Lions did not use an injury designation when waiving Roberts. He will join a more crowded tight end contingent with the Packers than he would have with the Patriots. Jimmy Graham, Lance Kendricks and third-round pick Jace Sternberger reside on Green Bay’s depth chart. The Packers also claimed tight end Pharoah McKever off waivers from the Jaguars recently.
Roberts, 25, has 13 career receptions for 146 yards. The Toledo alum, who caught three touchdown passes last season despite playing in just eight games, retains practice squad eligibility. Roberts suffered a shoulder injury that resulted in the former fourth-round pick finishing the 2018 season on IR.
