Titans Work Out Julian Wilson
- Free agent cornerback Julian Wilson worked out for the Titans on Sunday, tweets Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. Wilson, 26, went undrafted out of Oklahoma in 2015 before landing a contract with the Ravens. A broken leg ended his rookie season during minicamp, and Wilson subsequently spent time on the Chiefs and Vikings practice squads during the 2016 campaign. A futures deal with the Chiefs in 2017 never led to a serious look, so Wilson signed on with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League during the regular season. If signed by Tennessee, Wilson would compete for time on special teams.

Titans To Sign S Steven Terrell
The Titans are adding another safety. On Friday, the Titans agreed to sign Stephen Terrell, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (on Twitter).
Terrell was one of several safeties to audition for the Titans late last week. He now joins the club following the signing of Kenny Vaccaro. Vaccaro will likely start in place of the injured Johnathan Cyprien, but Terrell may find a role as a backup.
Terrell spent the first three seasons of his career with the Seahawks and enjoyed a bit of a breakout season in 2016. After having appeared in 16 games between 2014 and 2015, the safety appeared in 16 games (five starts) in 2016, finishing with a career-high in tackles (27). Last year, he hooked on with the Chiefs and appeared in ten contests.
Contract Details: Titans, Vaccaro, Eagles
Kenny Vaccaro’s one-year deal with the Titans includes no guarantees, but his base salary will be locked in if he’s on the Week 1 roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL.com tweets. Between the $100K bonus he’ll also receive in Week 1 and other bonuses, Vaccaro can earn up to $2.75MM with Tennessee.
It’s a far cry from what Vaccaro likely expected in March, but it’s not a bad deal considering the way the free agent safety market played out this offseason. Vaccaro will turn 28 next February, so he could be in line for a solid multi-year deal if he plays well in Johnathan Cyprien‘s absence.
Here’s a look at details on other recent contracts, courtesy of Pelissero:
- Safety Corey Graham received a one-year, $1.715MM deal from the Eagles with $1.515MM guaranteed, Pelissero tweets. Graham was a solid third safety for Philadelphia last season, playing 35% of the team’s regular season defensive snaps in support of starters Rodney McLeod and Malcolm Jenkins.
- The Seahawks gave guard J.R. Sweezy a $100K signing bonus on his deal, according to Pelissero, but that likely represents the only guaranteed money in the contract. It’s a one-year, $1.5MM deal that can reach a maximum of $2MM.

Titans Audition DT Drew Iddings
- Former Panthers defensive tackle Drew Iddings will work out for the Titans today, reports Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle (via Twitter). The six-foot-six, 265-pound lineman has yet to appear in an NFL game. However, he’s managed to garner preseason and practice squad gigs since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota in 2016. The Titans could use some depth on the defensive line, as they’re currently only rostering three reserves in David King, Julius Warmsley, and Austin Johnson.
