Following the 53-man roster cutdown deadline Tuesday, many teams will make slight tweaks to their rosters. In addition to waiver claims, teams can begin constructing their 16-man practice squads today. These Cowboys, Eagles, Giants and Washington moves are noted below.

I actually like the Giants’ claims there. Small names, sure, but each look to have some utility as backups or developmental players since each either looked good in college or have been on an NFL roster before.
I expected the Cowboys to keep DiNucci on the PS, and same with Washington and Barber. Benzschawel is interesting. His star fell around the draft, despite a promising college career. I’d like to see how he does in the league should get an opportunity. It’s interesting to see that Fulgham didn’t earn a roster spot in Philadelphia, given how he stepped up last year when things got rough for the offense. It’ll also be interesting to see if he gets poached by another team looking for receiver depth.
People are talking up Roche as a good pickup. He was mocked to the Giants on quite a few of the fan sites.
Yeah, I think he was a good waiver wire snag. The Giants could use depth there at LB. Mayo was a good depth player, so claiming Hilliard andRoche look good as options to replace him as a reserve.
