Reggie Ragland Visiting Bills
- The Bills are hosting Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland for a visit today, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post (Twitter link). Ragland, who visited the Rams on Monday, is projected to be a first-round pick, and could still be on the board when Buffalo picks at No. 19.
Bills To Meet With Vernon Butler
- Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Vernon Butler visited the Seahawks on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (on Twitter). After that, he has the Lions on Tuesday, the Buccaneers on Wednesday, and the Bills on Thursday.
Connor Cook Visited Bills
Cook will have a busy schedule this week, according to La Canfora, who writes that the QB is visiting the Cowboys, Dolphins, Broncos, and 49ers. Cook will also visit the Jets and Bears, and work out for the Rams. He has previously visited the Ravens and Bills, and met with the Browns.
Jarran Reed To Visit Bills
- In addition to making previously-reported visits to the Panthers, Lions, and Saints this week, Alabama defensive tackle Jarran Reed will also make trips to meet with the Bills and Bears, tweets Rapoport.
No Suspension Expected For LeSean McCoy
A lengthy investigation into a nightclub altercation involving LeSean McCoy ended last week, with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office announcing that no charges would be filed against the Bills running back or anyone else involved in the incident, due to “insufficient evidence.”
Although McCoy won’t face any criminal charges as a result of the February incident, that didn’t necessarily take him off the hook with the NFL, since the league can conduct its own investigation and hand out discipline accordingly. However, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports (via Twitter) that McCoy is not expected to face any discipline from the NFL. That’s not set in stone – the league’s investigation is ongoing – but for now things look good for the veteran back.
McCoy, who earned a Pro Bowl nod during his first season with the Bills in 2015, was at a Philadelphia nightclub in February when he and three of his companions fought with at least two off-duty police officers. As a result of the altercation, the Bills had been planning as if they would be without their standout running back to start the season, but it seems that the lack of evidence which resulted in the D.A. not pressing charges will also prompt the NFL to decide against a suspension.
Although McCoy had a strong first season in Buffalo, racking up 1,187 total yards from scrimmage in 12 games, the team still managed to get its rushing attack going when he was forced out of action due to injuries. First-year back Karlos Williams averaged an impressive 5.6 yards per carry on 93 attempts, and would take on a larger role early in the 2016 season if the NFL unexpectedly changes course and suspends McCoy.

Bills Interested In Sean Davis
Maryland corner Sean Davis is attracting a ton of interest around the league, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, who writes that Davis has met or will meet with 16 clubs, including the Texans, Cowboys, Saints, Cardinals, Dolphins, Lions, Browns, Colts, Seahawks, Ravens, Washington, Raiders, 49ers, Steelers, Bengals, Bills, and Titans. Wilson also confirms previous reports that Davis has met with the Patriots and Ravens.
Danny Lansanah Set To Visit Bills
- Linebacker Danny Lansanah is set to visit the Bills, tweets Josh Reed of WIVB. The 30-year-old spent the past three year with the Buccaneers, and he finished last season with 55 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.

Buscaglia: Cardale Jones Would Be Great Fit For Bills
- Following reports that the Bills are “enamored” by Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com believes the signal caller would be a good fit for the organization. Bills To Host Cyrus Jones
- Alabama cornerback Cyrus Jones joined Davis in working out for the Patriots on Friday, a league source told Aaron Wilson of NFPost.com. The Steelers will host Jones this weekend, and he also has visits scheduled with the Bills, Ravens and Saints. He visited the Eagles earlier this week.
Tyrod Taylor's Agent Blasts Bills' Defense, Lack Of Discipline
Agent Adisa Bakari, frustrated that the Bills haven’t extended one of his clients – quarterback Tyrod Taylor – propped up the signal-caller Thursday and took shots at other facets of the club (Twitter link). Bakari told SiriusXM NFL Radio that the Bills missed the playoffs last season because of a poor showing by their defense and a lack of discipline, not Taylor – whose performance Bakari referred to as “exceptional.” Bakari isn’t wrong – the Bills had a below-average defense and led the league in penalties in 2015, and Taylor was terrific statistically during his 14-game debut as a starter – but Buffalo doesn’t seem convinced he’s its long-term solution. Taylor is entering a contract year and the Bills have explored several QB prospects as the draft nears, so his chances of staying in their uniform for the long haul don’t look great at the moment.
