The Broncos added some intriguing special teams depth today in Sean Fresch. Before going undrafted in 2025, the cornerback was coming off a two-year stretch where he compiled 102 tackles, 16 passes defended, and an interception. He also made a name for himself on special teams, where he returned 24 punts for 200 yards between those two campaigns.
Fresch recently spent the 2026 UFL spring season with the St. Louis Battlehawks, where he earned All-UFL honors after returning 32 punts for 333 yards and three kickoffs for 85 yards. Before joining the Broncos, he also had a work out with the Texans.
Jaguars Sign CB Dane Jackson, OL Trystan Colon; CB Keith Taylor Placed On IR
The Jaguars have added a pair of veterans ahead of minicamp. Cornerback Dane Jackson and offensive lineman Trystan Colon have been signed, the team announced on Thursday.
In corresponding moves, cornerback Keith Taylor has been placed on injured reserve while offensive lineman Sal Wormley has been waived (meaning he will hit the wire before becoming a free agent if unclaimed). Players moved to IR at this stage of the offseason are guaranteed to miss the entire campaign, so today’s news is a major blow for Taylor. Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports the veteran recently suffered a pectoral tear while weightlifting.
Jackson was one of several members of Buffalo’s secondary who was released in March. Being cut brought an end to his second Bills stint; the six-year veteran has played five totals seasons with the team. A one-year run with the Panthers which did not go according to plan preceded Jackson’s Buffalo return for 2025. The 29-year-old will look to provide an injury replacement for Taylor and offer Jacksonville with depth in the secondary.
Colon saw sparse usage across a three-year Ravens stint to begin his career. The former undrafted free agent then spent a pair of seasons in Arizona, totaling 11 starts. Colon was with the Lions for 2025 and made 12 appearances (including four starts) as Detroit worked through a number of injuries up front. He has seen over 300 snaps at center along with both guard positions over the course of his career. A depth role on the interior will be sought out this summer.
Jacksonville entered Thursday with roughly $9.5MM in cap space. The additions of Jackson and Colon can be expected to check in at or near the veteran minimum. Further roster shuffling in advance of training camp – along with mandatory minicamp, which will run from June 15-17 – should be possible as a result.

Two veteran depth cornerbacks were re-signed to one-year deals today. Davis will be entering his seventh season in Cincinnati. Going undrafted out of Utah State in 2018, Davis spent his rookie year with the Dolphins before signing onto the Cardinals’ taxi squad the next year. After a midseason release in 2020, Davis found his way to the Bengals, and he’s been with the team ever since. After several years of special teams duties, Davis saw significant playing in Cincinnati for the first time in his career. He started three of seven game appearances in 2025.
Taylor was a late-season addition in Duval last year. The Jaguars signed the fifth-year player off the Falcons’ practice squad after Jourdan Lewis landed on injured reserve, but ultimately, Taylor didn’t see any time on the field with Jacksonville. Originally a fifth-round pick for the Panthers out of Washington, Taylor spent two years in Carolina and two more in Kansas City before landing in Atlanta. He has five starts in 47 games played over the first five years of his career.
Jaguars CB Jourdan Lewis Placed On IR
The Jaguars placed veteran cornerback Jourdan Lewis on injured reserve on Thursday, per a team announcement.
Lewis will undergo foot surgery and miss the rest of the 2025 season, including the playoffs, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Since Jacksonville has already clinched a spot in the postseason, Lewis could have theoretically returned for a potential AFC Championship game appearance. Unfortunately, his injury is too severe to even attempt a rushed recovery.
Lewis went down in Sunday’s win over the Broncos. He has appeared in 12 games this year as the Jaguars’ primary nickel with 39 tackles, 10 passes defended, and two interceptions. He missed three games in November, during which time he was replaced by second-year corner Jarrian Jones. Jones played well enough to keep a role on the boundary after Lewis’ return in Week 13; those snaps will need to be filled if he moves back into the slot.
Jacksonville could turn to Christian Braswell, who has been active for the last eight games for special teams work and a reserve role on defense. The Jaguars also signed veteran Keith Taylor off the Falcons’ practice squad a corresponding move to Lewis’ IR placement. The former Panther and Chief appeared in two games in Atlanta this season and has enough experience to serve as a backup for the rest of the year.
The Jaguars could also drop Eric Murray into the slot. He has not lined up there frequently this season, but he has nearly 1,500 career snaps as a nickel, per Pro Football Focus (subscription required).

The Steelers added a notable wide receiver to their taxi squad in Isaiah Hodgins. The wideout bounced between the Giants practice squad and active roster in 2024, but he’s not far removed from a stretch between 2022 and 2023 when he hauled in 58 catches for 622 yards and seven touchdowns. He’ll be joining a group of practice squad WRs that includes Rakim Jarrett and rookie Ke’Shawn Williams.
Speaking of the Giants, they added a veteran linebacker in Neville Hewitt. The 32-year-old has appeared in 146 games in time with the Dolphins, Jets, and Texans. His best season came with New York in 2020, when he compiled 134 tackles and a pair of sacks. He mostly saw a special teams role while in Houston, but he rebounded in 2024, tallying 59 tackles and a pair of forced fumbles in 17 games (four starts).

Fuller, Harrison, and Henderson all have previous starting experience in the secondary, though Harrison has since converted to linebacker and exclusively played special teams last season. Fuller missed half of the 2024 season due to injury, while Henderson, a former top-10 draft pick, spent the year with the Steelers but didn’t appear in a regular-season game.
With right tackle Kaleb McGary landing on season-ending IR, Parker could be a candidate to have a handshake agreement to be signed to the practice squad and remain in the team’s game day plans for the season. He will be crucial tackle depth with Norton sidelined for at least four weeks (and likely more) after ankle surgery
Bryant was a projected Day 3 pick who surprisingly went undrafted. Though he didn’t do enough to make the 53-man roster, the Falcons are hoping that he can clear waivers and return to the practice squad, per FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz.
Though Younghoe Koo is coming off a down year, the Falcons are sticking with the veteran kicker and waived Krieg, a German-born rookie. The Falcons are planning to re-sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. As an international player, Krieg is eligible to be an extra, 17th player on Atlanta’s practice squad.
Washington is expected to spend his third NFL season on the Falcons’ practice squad, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was only elevated once in 2024 and played exclusively special teams in that game.
Graham started 16 games over his first four years in the NFL but saw his snap share drop to a career low in 2024. He’ll be out for a minimum of four games with an undisclosed injury.
