We learned yesterday that quarterbacks Mike White and Shane Buechele also weren’t going to make the squad.
The Bills moved on from a handful of veterans as they set their first 53-man roster of the season. Among the cuts were offensive lineman Dan Feeney, who has 120 games of experience, and cornerback Dane Jackson, who got into 52 games for the Bills to begin his career. Jackson spent the 2024 campaign in Carolina, where he started three of his nine appearances.
A handful of these cut players have already been connected to Buffalo’s practice squad, assuming they pass through waivers unclaimed. This grouping includes Stephen Gosnell (per Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News), Travis Clayton (per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN), Keleki Latu (per Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com), and Kendrick Green (per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic).
NFL Minor Transactions: 6/6/25
Here are today’s minor moves to close out the week:
Buffalo Bills
- Signed: DT Marcus Harris
- Waived: DT Devin Brandt-Epps
Philadelphia Eagles
- Claimed off waivers (from Jaguars): RB Keilan Robinson
- Waived: WR Ife Adeyi
Robinson was a surprising presence on the waiver wire after Jacksonville drafted him in fifth round of last year’s draft. A career backup running back at Alabama and Texas, Robinson was likely drafted for his special teams potential. He spent his last two collegiate years as the Longhorns’ primary kickoff returner but only appeared in six games and returned two kicks as a rookie in Duval.
Minor NFL Transactions: 4/28/25
Here are Monday’s minor moves:
Carolina Panthers
- Claimed (from Raiders): CB M.J. Devonshire
- Signed: LB Mapalo Mwansa (International Pathway Program)
Green Bay Packers
- Signed ERFA tender: LB Zayne Anderson
- Waived: DT Leonard Payne
New England Patriots
- Waived: OL Jake Andrews, DL Marcus Harris, WR JaQuae Jackson, LB Titus Leo, S Mark Perry, TE Giovanni Ricci
The Raiders’ Tom Telesco-led regime chose Devonshire in last year’s seventh round. After seeing no game action as a rookie, Devonshire will vie for a roster spot with the Panthers. Three seasons remain on Devonshire’s rookie contract.
Ricci saw extensive action for the Panthers from 2021-23, starting four games in that span. He caught eight passes for 100 yards in 2022. The Colts used a sixth-round pick on Leo in 2023; he played in four Pats games last season.

Friday’s practice squad moves in the NFL:
Arizona Cardinals
- Signed: WR Chris Moore
- Released: WR Dan Chisena
New England Patriots
- Signed: LS Tucker Addington, DT Marcus Harris
Washington Commanders
- Signed: QB Sam Hartman
Both Moore and Hartman were released/waived from their respective 53-man rosters this week. Other teams would’ve had the opportunity to claim Hartman off of the waiver wire, but ultimately unclaimed, he returns to Washington on the practice squad.

Wilson is a former collegiate basketball player who played for two years apiece at Idaho and Oregon State. He transitioned to football, transferring to Washington State for three years, appearing in 12 games in 2022 at right and left tackle. He then played in 13 basketball games for the Cougars before transferring to Minnesota and transitioning back to basketball for his final year of collegiate eligibility.

Keenum was headed into the second season of a two-year deal with his original NFL team, but a major injury will sidetrack the veteran arm. A foot injury will sideline the 36-year-old quarterback, KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson tweets. Keenum is expected to be down for three or four months, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini adds. Houston still has Davis Mills, who is in a contract year, as its top backup behind C.J. Stroud.
A calf injury will shut down Harris for the time being, Wilson adds. The Texans used both their allotted IR-return moves. The team used the 2022 third-round pick as a 12-game starter last season. Harris has played at least 71% of the Texans’ defensive snaps in both of his seasons, explaining his being prioritized via the NFL’s IR rule tweak. Despite being a 2022 UDFA, Hinish has been a key rotational player in Houston in each of his two pro seasons.
Horton is in remission from his bout with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The second-year player completed his final treatment this spring but did not practice with the team during training camp. The Texans’ run of WR cuts leaves 2022 second-rounder John Metchie, who missed his rookie season after a leukemia diagnosis, and Robert Woods on the roster behind starters Nico Collins, Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs. Cutting Jordan, a sixth-round pick from Louisville, leaves Dameon Pierce, Dare Ogunbowale and Cam Akers rostered behind Joe Mixon.
