Green Bay’s regular kicker Brandon McManus was off the injury report with three full practices this week, so Havrisik will take his leave after filling in for three games this year. The team had been keeping Havrisik close even during McManus’ healthy stretches, but after the backup missed two extra point attempts at MetLife this weekend, the Packers relinquished him to the waiver wire.
Jones missed most of his rookie campaign due to a knee injury, and the same has been true for most of his sophomore season. This time, though, he’s coming back with a bit more time left in the season.
O’Connell had already been called up as a gameday elevation three times this year, so if Seattle wanted to see him on the field again, this move was necessary. In his most recent elevation, O’Connell was asked to play a much bigger role, staying in for over half the team’s defensive snaps. In his first extended opportunity, O’Connell finished second on the team with nine tackles and even logged his first career sack.

There hasn’t been much of an update since it was reported that rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel was going through the league’s concussion protocol. He was able to get some limited practice time in yesterday, but he hasn’t yet been cleared. With Gabriel’s status up in the air, Zappe is getting called up in case he’s needed to back up the new starting rookie, Shedeur Sanders.
O’Connell and Sheriff are getting called up with linebackers Tyrice Knight out with a concussion and Ernest Jones questionable with a knee injury. This will be O’Connell’s third and final practice squad elevation, so if the Seahawks wants to see him play again this year, they will need to sign him to the active roster.
Seahawks Activate OL Christian Haynes, Place C Jalen Sundell On IR
The Seahawks will have a different look up front when they play their pivotal game against the Rams tomorrow. The team’s roster shuffling in advance of the game includes a pair of offensive line moves. 
Christian Haynes has been activated from injured reserve, per a team announcement. The second-year blocker has not played this season, but his practice window was opened just over two weeks ago. Haynes is now back on the active roster in time to play on Sunday.
The timing of Haynes’ return is key. Seattle lost starting center Jalen Sundell to a knee injury in Week 10, leading the expectation a long-term absence could be in store. Sundell will indeed be sidelined for an extended period, as the Seahawks have moved him to IR. A new first-team option will be needed at the center spot over at least the next four games as a result.
After Sundell went down in Week 10, Olu Oluwatimi took over as his replacement. Sundell won a training camp competition with Oluwatimi, but the latter could regain a starting role if the Seahawks keep him in place for the time being. Another option would be to insert Haynes into the starting lineup immediately upon returning to action by playing him at center.
Haynes, 25, made 16 appearances but no starts during his rookie season. The former third-rounder worked exclusively at guard during that time. However, head coach Mike Macdonald recently named Haynes as an option to fill in for Sundell at center. In any case, sixth-round rookie Bryce Cabeldue remains likely to continue operating as a backup along the interior with Haynes now available.
Seattle’s other Saturday roster move was the decision to make linebacker Patrick O’Connell a gameday elevation. The 26-year-old has made one appearance to date in 2025 and seven in his career, all with the Seahawks.
Seahawks Place DT Jarran Reed, WR Dareke Young On IR
NOVEMBER 9: General manager John Schneider said on a Seattle Sports radio appearance (via Condotta) Reed recently underwent surgery on his wrist. Recovery from the procedure has not gone as planned, so instead of continuing to play through the issue (as he did last week) Reed will look to fully heal while on IR.
NOVEMBER 8: The Seahawks announced that they have placed defensive tackle Jarran Reed and wide receiver Dareke Young on IR. Reed is dealing with wrist and thumb issues, while Young has a quadriceps injury. Both players will miss a minimum of four games.
Reed, a 10th-year man who began his second stint with the Seahawks in 2023, has once again been a significant contributor this season. Appearing in all eight of the 6-2 Seahawks’ games before his IR placement, Reed has logged a 47.3% snap share with 17 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The 6-foot-3, 315-pounder’s wrist injury limited him to a season-low 17 snaps in a blowout win over the Commanders last week.
Although Reed’s wrist has bothered him, the IR placement comes as a surprise after he was a full participant in practice during the week. Reed’s thumb problem seems to be a new development, though, and it will help lead to a lengthy absence. As Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times notes, only Reed’s wrist malady was listed on the injury report throughout the week. The team announced his thumb injury on Saturday.
Young has totaled just four catches in 39 games since the Seahawks used a seventh-round pick on him in 2022. The 26-year-old has picked up a pair of receptions for 48 yards in six games this season. Most of Young’s impact has come on special teams, where he has played 48.4% of snaps in 2025.
Along with Young, the Seahawks are dealing with injuries to fellow receivers Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel), Tory Horton (groin, shin), and Jake Bobo (calf) ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the NFC West rival Cardinals. Kupp is questionable, Horton is doubtful, and Bobo is out.
To replenish their depth, the Seahawks signed D-tackle Quinton Bohanna and receiver Cody White from their practice squad to their 53-man roster on Saturday. They also elevated receiver Ricky White III and linebacker Patrick O’Connell from their practice squad.

Christian Haynes should eventually return to the active roster once he’s fully recovered from a pec injury. The 2024 third-round pick got into 16 games with Seattle as a rookie, appearing in 167 offensive snaps and 67 special teams snaps. Despite his early-season absence, the team still moved on from a handful of notable linemen. This includes Sataoa Laumea, who started all six of his appearances with the Seahawks last year.
The Seahawks moved on from a handful of veterans today, including a pair of cornerbacks. Shemar Jean-Charles has appeared in 37 career games, including nine (two starts) with the Saints in 2024. The former fifth-round pick has compiled 29 tackles and one interception. Seattle also moved on from Tyler Hall via an injury settlement. The cornerback started six of his 18 appearances for the Raiders over the past two years.

The Vikings’ release of Murphy is disappointing one for the organization for sure. The rookie pass rusher out of UCLA was not healthy enough to be on the active roster to start the season, but Minnesota liked him enough to dedicate one of their eight IR activations on him in August. He was activated yesterday but hit waivers today. If he clears the waivers, he’ll be available to sign to the team’s practice squad.
Adams has seen his biggest NFL roles during his time in Pittsburgh. Though he hasn’t gotten the same number of starts as he had in 2022 and 2023, he’s continued the same level of production. After missing the last four games, he’ll be looking to return to the field soon.
Seahawks Place G Anthony Bradford On IR, Designate T Stone Forsythe For Return
The Seahawks have officially designated Uchenna Nwosu for return from IR, as Mike Macdonald indicated would happen. They have also designated tackle Stone Forsythe for return from IR, The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Dugar tweets.
With the Seahawks missing Abraham Lucas and George Fant for most of the season’s first half, Forsythe logged five starts before going down with a hand injury. Lucas has since return after a long rehab effort, which would make Forsythe a backup once he is activated. Fant is amid a second IR stint.
While the Seahawks could soon have some tackle depth back, they will be down a starting guard. Anthony Bradford sustained an ankle injury during Seattle’s win over Arizona and is heading to IR. Playing opposite free agency addition Laken Tomlinson, Bradford has started every game for the Seahawks this season. Week 13 will be the first game either of Seattle’s starting guards misses. Bradford suffered a “pretty severe” high ankle sprain, Macdonald said (via Dugar). The Seahawks hope he can come back after the required four-week absence period.
Bradford won the right guard job out of training camp, keeping a place in the starting lineup after the Seahawks moved on from both their 2023 guard starters (Damien Lewis, Phil Haynes). Bradford spent much of last season filling in for Haynes, who has not resurfaced since his Seahawks contract expired, while Lewis manned the LG job. Lewis defected to the Panthers on an eight-figure-per-year deal, and the Seahawks kept cost low by signing Tomlinson to a veteran-minimum deal. Bradford remains tied to a rookie contract.
A 2023 fourth-round pick, Bradford has struggled in moving to full-time duty this year. Pro Football Focus rates the LSU alum as the NFL’s fourth-worst guard among regulars in 2024. ESPN’s run block win rate metric ranks the Seahawks in the bottom five. Another Haynes, third-rounder Christian, is set to replace Bradford, who appeared on the Seattle sideline in a walking boot and using crutches. Despite not starting any games, Christian Haynes has logged 164 offensive snaps.
Nwosu and Forsythe being activated would leave the Seahawks with three such moves remaining during the regular season. The team also moved linebacker Patrick O’Connell to the active roster.

Toney is set to make his debut for the regular season. The former first-round pick out of Florida has had a rocky first four years in the league, despite coming away with two Super Bowl rings in Kansas City. He was signed to the Browns’ practice squad just after the season opener and will be eligible to see game action with Cleveland in Week 11.
O’Donnell was added to the 49ers’ practice squad earlier this week given the chance of Mitch Wishnowsky missing time. The latter is now on injured reserve, ensuring at least a four-game absence. O’Donnell, 32, is a veteran of 145 games but Week 11 will mark his first regular season action since 2022.
