With Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox both dealing with injuries, the Bills add Latu to the 53-man roster for depth. To make room, Buffalo has parted ways with the veteran, Hardman, just a week after activating him from injured reserve.
A number of players are being called up as standard gameday practice squad elevations for the third and final time on their current contracts. This is the case for Flowers in Chicago, Zappe in Cleveland, Sills in Indianapolis, Driscoll in Pittsburgh, and Kight in Seattle. If their respective teams wish to see them appear in another game this year, they will need to be signed to the 53-man roster, as was done with Wormley in Indianapolis and Chatman in New York this week after they exhausted their three elevations already this year.

Agnew’s time in Atlanta has come to an end after 11 appearances with his third career team. The veteran did not see any usage on offense, but he handled 45 total returns between kickoffs and punts this season. Agnew totaled 855 yards in that capacity, but he will now hit the waiver wire. Provided he clears, the 30-year-old will become a free agent.
The same is true of Tuttle. A veteran of 105 games, he has made just one start so far this season. Tuttle has only handled a 25% snap share on defense, so he is unlikely to generate much interest as a free agent. Nevertheless, a depth role could await him on a contender down the stretch.

Nichols began the year on the reserve/PUP list. The eight-year veteran has been hampered by injuries since signing with the Cardinals in 2024. After playing just six games last year, Nichols’ 2025 campaign will end after only four appearances.
Bryant makes his return to the Texans’ offense to replenish a thinned out tight ends group, while in Seattle, the Seahawks place their second-round rookie tight end, Arroyo, on injured reserve with a knee injury.
In Buffalo, this will be Jackson’s third and final standard gameday practice squad elevation. If the team wants to see him in another game this season, they’ll need to sign him to the 53-man roster. The same is true for Strong in Green Bay, Jackson and Mafi in Las Vegas, Smyth in New Orleans, Sam in Philadelphia, and Jones in Seattle.
On the flip side of that, in Denver, Turner has been signed to the 53-man roster after running out of elevations last week.
Thomas suffered a shoulder injury in Week 14 and it will end his season. The third-round rookie confirmed on social media today he is set to undergo surgery in the near future. Thomas made five starts in 2025, totaling 22 tackles and seven pass deflections.
Giants Place OL Evan Neal On IR
The Giants placed offensive lineman Evan Neal on injured reserve, per a team announcement, likely ending the former first-round pick’s season and time in New York.
Neal has not appeared in a game all year but popped up on this week’s injury report with a hamstring issue that kept him out of practice. He could be activated after his four-game stint on IR is up, but his lack of a game day role suggests that the Giants would rather use the roster spot on another player.
It is hard to see Neal, the No. 5 pick in the 2022 draft, as anything but a bust. He was named the Giants’ starting right tackle as a rookie and kept it for the whole season, though he missed a few games due to an MCL sprain. Neal was benched midway through his second year and did not make enough progress over the subsequent offseason to get his job back. Injuries along the Giants’ offensive line in 2024 pressed Neal back into duty at right tackle for the last seven games of the season.
The Giants turned down Neal’s fifth-year option in May and were hoping a change to guard could salvage the final year of his rookie contract. The position switch did not take, and Neal is now poised to hit free agency as a potential reclamation project for another team.
New York’s other Saturday roster moves including the promotion of kicker Younghoe Koo to the active roster from the practice squad. Graham Gano was placed on injured reserve (for a second time) earlier this week, so Koo will take over the team’s kicking duties for the next four games. He made all four of his kicks in Week 10, though they all came inside of 40 yards.
The Giants also elevated wide receiver Dalen Cambre and defensive lineman Elijah Chatman from the practice squad for Sunday’s matchup against the Packers. Cambre, an undrafted rookie out of Louisiana, will make his NFL debut, likely as a special teams contributor. He could see some time on offense with veteran wideout Darius Slayton ruled out. Chatman, meanwhile, will make his 2025 debut with Chauncey Golston and Rakeem Nunez-Roches both expected to be sidelined. Chatman made the 53-man roster as an undrafted rookie last year and appeared in all 17 games with a 39% snap share, but he could not replicate the feat this season.

Waived/injured:

- CB Tre Hawkins

Placed on reserve/PUP list:
- OLB Victor Dimukeje
- RB Eric Gray
Placed on IR (return designation):
Two years after winning a starting job as a rookie (and forcing Adoree’ Jackson into a brief slot CB sojourn), Hawkins is off the Giants’ roster. He joins Dulcich as notable players waived today. Dulcich came over via waivers from the Broncos midway through last season. The Giants have been light at tight end since Darren Waller‘s retirement, but they now have starter Theo Johnson back after a season-ending injury. Daniel Bellinger, Chris Manhertz and seventh-round rookie Thomas Fidone made the team over Dulcich.
Forsythe came over from the Seahawks on a one-year, $1.34MM deal, doing so after having started 13 games between the 2023 and ’24 seasons. The Giants gave more money (two years, $12MM) to James Hudson to be their swing tackle, while fifth-round rookie Marcus Mbow has been working at tackle as well. Evan Neal is also an option at tackle, though the demoted RT has been working at guard for months.
Ezeudu will count toward the Giants’ in-season injury activation total, reducing that number from eight to seven. The former third-round pick has been out for a few weeks after being carted off the practice field early in camp. The Giants view Ezeudu as likely to return, however. This is the North Carolina product’s contract year.
Teams can officially begin setting their 16-man practice squads starting at 11am CT Wednesday. The Giants have a few candidates from this bunch to stay, with a decent percentage of the above contingent under consideration to stay. Kabas is one, per The Athletic’s Dan Duggan, who adds Miller is another. Paige is viewed as a candidate for New York’s P-squad as well, per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson. Ward is a vested veteran and can determine his future earlier, but Wilson adds the reserve RB is a taxi squad candidate.

Sunday’s minor transactions to wrap up the weekend:
Chicago Bears
- Signed: CB Leon Jones, TE Tommy Sweeney
Cleveland Browns
- Signed: QB Jacob Sirmon
Detroit Lions
- Signed: WR Kaden Davis
New York Giants
- Signed: DT Elijah Chatman
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Signed: CB Andrew Hayes, RB Ramon Jefferson
- Waived: CB Quandre Mosely, G Logan Stenberg
With the conclusion of rookie minicamps, a number of teams have made a few additions from minicamp auditions of undrafted rookie free agents. Sweeney is a rare example of a non-rookie getting a second chance from a minicamp audition. After collapsing on the practice field with the Giants last year due to a “medical event,” Sweeney will attempt a comeback to the NFL in Chicago.
Jones (undrafted out of Arkansas State), Sirmon (undrafted out of Northern Colorado), Chatman (undrafted out of SMU), Hayes (undrafted out of Central Arkansas), and Jefferson (undrafted out of Kentucky) all earned roster spots for the offseason after successful minicamp tryouts. Mosely and Stenberg were waived to make room for Hayes and Jefferson.
